My Story
I had been a stay at home mom for eleven years before my divorce, my sons were in kinder and third grade. I wanted to continue to be a room mom, team mom, chaperon and attend all their actives. I had to find a job that would allow me flexibility. A close friend was a substitute teacher for our school district and suggested I try it out.
Working as a substitute teacher, allowed me to be there for all of my sons important moments, including being off school holidays and summers. You don’t get rich subbing nor do you have any benefits not even health insurance. Next year both of my sons will be in high school, freshman and senior. So I decided it was time to find a new profession / job. I’ve always wanted to own a business! Seriously looked into opening a store but decided against a traditional store front because I wanted to be free to relocate.
